The kit includes a large abalone shell, home grown organic sage, one large feather and an Apache Tear. Each item represents the four elements, Fire, Earth, Air and Water.

The sage is crumbled up into the abalone shell and lit in order to create the spirit smoke. The feather is used to fan the smoke as you work in the areas you are cleansing. You can also use the shell and sacred sage during prayer meditations and rituals.

The Apache Tear (volcanic glass) is one of the symbols of the four elements (fire) and can be placed inside the abalone shell with the sage or simply placed on a table in the room you will be working in.

Apache Tear is unlike traditional obsidian. It is translucent, so you can see through it. Hold it up to the light and feel the spirit energy of the stone. The fire has cleared the darkness away.
